The police service says it has made adequate security arrangements for the celebration of this year’s Easter.
“Security arrangements have been made for the celebrations in the Kwahu area to cover the paragliding event and other traditional Easter activities in Kwahu”.
Before COVID-19 reared its head in the world and subsequently in Ghana, people from all walks of life trooped to Kwahu in the Eastern Region, for Easter festivities.
Tourists got attracted to paragliding which boosted tourism and economic activities in the area.
This year, about three million people are expected to visit the area for Easter.
