RTU Midfielder Gaddafi Picks Head Injury

Iddrisu Gadafi’s inclusion in the Real Tamale United (RTU)’s Sunday fixture is in limbo as the midfielder is said to have picked an injury.

A statement from the Club said he sustained an injury on his head during training on Wednesday, October 4.

“Midfielder Iddrisu Gadafi picked up a head injury during the team’s training session on Wednesday morning at Nobisco park.”

He is currently under medical observation which will inform Coach Baba Nuhu Mallam’s decision on October 8.

“It is still unclear if Gadafi will travel with the team to Bibiani for Sunday’s league match. Team Doctor, Iddrisu Abdul Somed is still monitoring the player’s condition will confirm player’s availability tomorrow.”

RTU is eighth on the table with four points having won one, lost one and recorded a draw in the current season.

They recoded 1-0 victory against Accra Hearts of Oak in their season opener but bowed to Boafoakwa Tano in a 2-1 defeat in their second before drawing level {2-2} with Accra Lions in their third match.

The last three slots are accordingly occupied by Bechem United ho has three points, Asante Kotoko with two points and Medeama who has an outstanding game.
