Reactions As Ken Agyapong Advices Against Polygamy

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong’s advice against polygamy has provoked myriad reactions from some Ghanaians most especially young men.

His counsel seems to have been boycotted by the majority of tweeps who say they want personal experiences to learn the “negative” aspect of the act.

The aspiring Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday, October 5 based on his experience with multiple women advised young men to forget about following suit.

He indicated that he finds himself embroiled in some mess as a result of his multiple dalliances and thus his decision to advise all against it.

“I won’t advise any young man to have multiple women only if you knew the problems I go through,” he posted on X.

His comment section garnered numerous mixed reactions.

“Hon gyai. we want to go through the same problems,” one said with another commenting, “We will also enjoy some, please paaa.”

“Hon, sorry but I want to end up like you so I want to go through the same problem.” Another questioned, “Wey you want carry this country’s burden add?”

Kennedy Agyapong a year ago disclosed he was married to two women and had 22 children are from 12 women.

“I have 22 kids … I don’t have one wife, I have two wives, others I have babies with them,” he is quoted as saying.

His large family size is no secret in the country as he boasts of it quite often.
