The Commissioner for the Ghana Revenue Authority, Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah did not meet the press as earlier scheduled and expected.
He was expected to update Ghanaians on the implementation of the Electronic Transfers Levy (E-levy) which began on May 1, 2022.
The implementation of the policy since its commencement has been characterised by a myriad of challenges.
It was expected that the Commissioner of the GRA would speak on the issues today, May 5, at the Ministry of Information Press Centre.
The meeting has been postponed to next week, the Ministry of Information said in a Facebook post.
“Today’s Press Briefing has been rescheduled to next week”, MoI posted.
