Police Go After Viral “Robber” Captured On CCTV

The Ghana Police Service says it hunting down a solo suspected robber who has gone viral after being captured on a closed-circuit Television (CCTV).

He is said to ply his alleged robbery in Accra in the Greater Accra Region.

Following the circulation of the footage, the police released a brief statement to allay fears about his prowl.

“The Police would like to assure the public that CCTV footages of a lone robber circulating on social media is a matter already being investigated by the Police.

“Police intelligence teams have been working on the matter for some time now to get the suspect arrested to face justice; and we will surely get him.”

It also disclosed security measures have been deployed in the affected communities.
