Mankessim Murder: One More Body Exhumed

Police investigations have led to the discovery of one more body murdered and buried on the ticket of Tufohen of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Oye and self-acclaimed pastor, Christopher Ekow Clarke, the two suspects in the murder of Georgina Asor-Botchwey, a prospective nurse at Mankessim.

The newly discovered body belongs to a petty trader from Obokrom in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region identified as Gloria Yeboah.

A police report says that the victim was lured to Accra on June 17, 2022, by the suspects and later sent to Mankessim under the pretext of preparing her to travel to Holland but she was “killed”.

She was reported missing in June by her family, the police say.

Following the discovery of her body, her family has been contacted and provided with the necessary assistance, the police said.

The police say investigations suggest that the two were involved in ritual murder.

The security service suspects a third murder case by the two.

“The police are following a lead on a possible third victim who might have been murdered by the victims”.
