Gold Shop Robbery: One Suspect Nabbed

The police have arrested one suspect in connection with the viral robbery of a gold-buying shop in the Mpohor District in the Western Region.

It followed the launch of a manhunt for the gang that attacked the shop and made away with an unspecified amount of money on August 16, 2025.

In a statement, it said strenuous efforts were underway to arrest the remaining suspects, adding that the injured victim was responding to treatment.

“We would like to assure the public that the perpetrators will be arrested and made to face justice.”
