Kejetia Market Will Undergo Maintenance Soon – MD Hints
The Managing Director for Kejetia market has stated that the Kejetia market will undergo maintenance soon.
Mr. Dufuor explained how the pipes have been leaking and bursting at the Kejetia market damaging goods worth millions of cedis. He said this is as a result of the pressure from the water supplied by the Ghana Water Company.
Mr. Kofi Dufuor said contractors have advised the management to get a pressure cage to help reduce the pressure from the water.
He added that the market has over 400,000 water reservoirs and the water from Ghana Water Company has been directed to the reservoirs which the traders wouldn’t struggle to get water when the maintenance process commences.
He asserted that the insurance of the market has expired therefore the Management has engaged an Insurance company to renew it to serve as a cushion for the traders.
