Effiduase-Asokore MP Voices Out Underdevelopment In Ashanti Region
The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore Constituency, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie has voiced concerns over underdevelopment in the Ashanti Region with respect to monumental projects.
According to him, Kwabre East Constituents over the years have suffered and still suffering from deplorable roads which is worrisome and unacceptable with respect to their overwhelmingly votes given to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to win political power.
Hon. Ayew Afriyie who doubles as the Chairman of the Health Committee in Parliament expressed worry over the bad roads characterized in the Ashanti Region while other Regions are benefiting from monumental projects like interchanges, roads, and inland ports.
On the huge spatial stage of the Region, he claimed, Ashanti Region should get its rightful portion of the national cake.
Furthermore, he condemned Suame Constituents over the way and manner they expressed their bitterness to their Member of Parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu concerning bad roads in the Suame Constituency.
Hon. Ayew expressed worry over the uncompleted Sofoline interchange and other link roads, Boankra Inland Port, and Anloga fly-over under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration since 2016.
