Ghanaians Must Prioritize National Development – Pastor
The President of the Northern Ghana Union of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Ghana, Pastor Kwame Annor Boahen has stated that it is imperative for citizens to prioritize the development of the nation irrespective of one’s religious denomination and political affiliation.
According to him, Ghanaians must care deeply about the development of our nation rather than solely focusing on personal interests.
“It is disheartening to witness some individuals in positions of power amassing personal wealth while neglecting the collective national interest,” he said.
Speaking exclusively to Opemsuo News Reporter Adwoa Serwaa Yonkodo at the 75th anniversary Launch and Temple Dedication of the Namong Central, he urged citizens to unite and contribute selflessly to national progress.
He explained that national development must be a collective effort and requires Ghannaians to set aside their differences and come together as one people to build a prosperous Ghana.
Furthermore, District Pastor for the Namong Central SDA, Pastor Fred O Agyemang, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the need for accountability.
“We, as servants, should always be accountable to our masters or appointing authorities,” he stressed.
“As a Church, we have faced struggles in putting up our structure, but we remain steadfast in our faith in God’s guidance. We encourage everyone to never lose sight of their vision and aspirations for a better nation.”
