Foreigner Who Chased KIA Car Park Attendant Arrested
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has relayed that the foreign lady who was captured in a viral video chasing a car park attendant at the KIA, is in police custody.
The GACL said the incident transpired on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Terminal 3 departure frontage of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
The female foreigner, according to the GACL, parked her car at the pedestrian crossing at the Terminal 3 departure frontage.
It said a request from the Car Park attendant to get her to move the car was disobeyed.
“Subsequently, the vehicle was clamped. In a fit of rage, she got down from the vehicle, removed the clamp, and threw it at the car park attendant injuring him in the process”, the GACL recounted.
It added that she was arrested by police personnel at the airport and handed over to the Airport Police Station.
This comes after a video of the angry foreigner circulated on social media yesterday.
