Dream Comes True As Fuseini Issahak Becomes A Warrior

For the Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, the signing of Fuseini Issahak is to reinforce its Defence but to the 20-year-old, this means a dream come true.

Expressing his excitement in an interaction with the Club’s media, he said he “can’t wait to get started”.

“For me, it’s a dream come true.”

Fuseini joins Kotoko on a six year contract from Real Tamale United where he spent one season.

“Having featured already for Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum team in the club’s pre-season friendlies, Issahak becomes our second addition at right-back, following the arrival of Samuel Asamoah,” the Club in a statement on Monday.

The hard-tackling full-back showcased his talent and potential for the Pride of the North, making 14 appearances in all competitions and was named Man of the Match on two occasions, the Club highlighted.

He becomes the third confirmed signing after Micheal Dwamena Kyei and Peter Amidu Acquah since the first weekend in September.

The Club announced signing midfielder Micheal Dwamena Kyei from WAFA in addition to the two central midfield signings of the Club during the current transfer window.

“Dwamena is noted for combing an excellent reading of the game, breaking up opponents’ attacks, and also an impressive distribution of passes,” the Club defended.

17-year-old winger Peter Amidu Acquah joins from PAC Academy on a contract running until 2026, according to the Club.
