Don’t Go to Lumba’s House Without Appropriate Permission- Counsellor Lutterodt Backtracks

Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, also known as Counsellor Lutterodt, has retracted his earlier incisive order for a rampage at the East Legon residence of the late musician Daddy Lumba.

In a statement issued on March 12, he urged the public to seek appropriate permission before visiting the residence without denying the earlier comments.

“I therefore urge everyone to act with wisdom, restraint, and respect. Any person who, without lawful authority or the express permission of the appropriate persons, goes to the residence of the Late music legend does so entirely to his or her own risk. I completely disassociate myself from any such actions.”

In a video, he was allegedly heard calling on Ga youth to storm the residence of the late musician with an axe, claiming his remains had been buried there, denigrating the land.

He was arrested and charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace under Section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), and inciting violence under the Criminal Offences Act and the Public Order Act, 1994 (Act 491) earlier this week.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was admitted to bail in the sum of GH¢50,000 with two sureties to be justified on Wednesday.
