Do not let my Deceased Wife’s Blood go to Waste – Husband Appeals to Assin-North
Mr Yaw Sarfo, the husband of the deceased NDC supporter who tragically lost her life in an accident during Ex-President Mahama’s campaign in Assin North, specifically in Assin Dansame, has made an emotional appeal to the constituents. He has urged them to vote overwhelmingly for James Gyakye Quayson as a way to honour and bring solace to the soul of his late wife.
The bereaved husband, who is also the Branch Chairman of the NDC in Assin Dansame, firmly believes that by voting for James Quayson, his deceased wife Dora Afia Sarfo will find peace, as she was a dedicated supporter of the ousted MP.
Mr. Sarfo expressed his confidence in James Quayson’s ability to provide support and care for the family, particularly the children, if he is elected as the MP for Assin North.
“I advise that we are very careful during the upcoming by-election so that we don’t lose anymore life. Again, I appeal to residents to consider the painful death of my wife and vote massively for the NDC candidate, Gyakye Quayson to become the MP, so that when he’s in power he can also help take care of the children my wife has left behind.”
Having been married for over 25 years and blessed with four children, the deceased wife had been a pillar of strength for the family, according to Mr. Sarfo, supporting them in every aspect of their lives.
This plea was made during a visit by Former President Mahama, James Gyakye Quayson, and NDC executives to the bereaved family on June 18, to offer their condolences.
Family members of the deceased, described her as a courageous, God-fearing woman who was hardworking, assertive, and never afraid to speak the truth.
