BoG Proceeds On MPC Meeting

The fate of Ghana’s monetary policy is being decided by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) from today, July 20, as Ghana seeks an International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout.

The MPC meeting will end on Friday, July 22, 2022.

This will be the 107th regular meeting of the MPC.

This is at a time when national inflation is staggering at 29.8%.

The meeting will review developments in the economy, the BoG said in a notice today.

The meeting will conclude with a press conference on July 25 to announce the decision of the committee.

The last MPC meeting was held between May 18, 2022, and May 20, 2022.
