GFA Prez Appointed Chairman of FIFA Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Committee

President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has been appointed as the Chairman of the FIFA Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Committee, one of FIFA’s most influential bodies championing the fight against racism, inequality, and discrimination in global football.
The appointment, confirmed in a letter dated October 7, 2025, and signed by FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström, will see Mr. Simeon-Okraku serve as Chairman until 2029.
This recognition underscores his outstanding leadership qualities and his growing influence within international football administration.
Mr. Simeon-Okraku, who also serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), continues to be a shining symbol of Ghana’s football diplomacy and governance excellence.
The committee will work under Mr. Simeon-Okraku’s leadership to strengthen FIFA’s global efforts in promoting inclusivity, respect, and equality in football.
