Popular Ghanaian actor, Psalm Adjetefio, known among Ghanaians as TT, has been confirmed dead.
Reports indicate that TT was found unconscious in his room this morning by one of his sons who had gone to visit him.
He was sent to a hospital where he was pronounced clinically dead, his son, Nii Adjei Adjeteyfio narrated according to CNR.
Adjeteyfio earned the name TT from a TV series in which he played the role of a taxi driver.
Aged 74, TT announced he was diagnosed with a heart condition, diabetes and kidney failure years back.
The actor became impoverished before his death after years of acting. He blamed his predicament on poor conditions of service during his days of acting.
In 2021, the actor appealed for funds to rent an apartment when the payment he had made for the apartment he was sheltering in neared depletion. His appeal touched hearts including that of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who donated GHC 50,000 to the actor; 30,000 cedis for a five-year rent, and 20, 000 cedis for his upkeep.
Earlier this year, the actor occupied public discourse once more after he was virally captured begging for food leftovers.
