Trust Us To Bounce Back Stronger; Kotoko Assures Fans
The Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has assured fans of a better season in the 2023/2024 premier league after failing to defend their title.
Medeama Sporting Clubs took away the title after their last game ended in a 3:1 victory against relegated Tamale City on Sunday at the Akoon Park leaving the 2021/2022 champions in the 4th place with 52 points.
They were eight points cut from the winners after recording a goalless draw in their last match at home against Dreams FC.
Out of 34 matches played, Kotoko recorded 13 wins, 13 draws and 8 losses, scoring 42 goals and conceding 31.
In a message to fans left on their Facebook page, the Club expressed their appreciation for their unflinching support in good and bad times.
“You stuck together through all circumstances for us and with us, and we say a big Thank You to all our supporters around the World.”
It further promised them a better season ahead.
