Ghana U-17 Beat Saudi Arabia In International Friendly With 10 Men
Ghana’s U-17 team thrashed Saudi Arabia’s team by 3:2 in Riyadh on Sunday.
The first of the two international friendly matches for the Black Starlets ended in their favour following goals from Benjamin Tsivanyo, Hammed Fiifi Peter and Debrah Bossman.
The Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia managed to score two goals.
The Black Starlets won despite a reduction to 10 men following marching orders to Ali Umar for a bad tackle on an opponent.
The victory adds up to the Starlets’ impressive performance and victory in the UEFA U-16 tournament in Serbia in mid-April.
The two teams will play again on Thursday, May 4.
