3 Foreigners Arrested For Allegedly Murdering Ghanaian Man

Three foreign nationals are in the grips of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly murdering a man from the Western region of Ghana.

The foreigners said to be Chinese, reportedly killed their victim on Friday, November 11 at a mining site at Bonsa.

They have been identified as Wen Jianhua, Yu Shuhui and Zhou Daquan.

The deceased on the other hand has been identified only as a male adult. The police said his name has been withheld in line with its standard operating procedure and that of the Ghanaian tradition.

According to a statement from the Police Service, the suspects killed the victim with a gun.

“A search conducted at the residence of the suspects led to the retrieval of the murder weapon”, the police said.

While investigations continue, the police say the body of the victim has been deposited at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital for preservation and autopsy.

It is not yet clear what provoked the action of the foreigners.
