Nkoranza Traditional Council Affirms Commitment to Asantehemaa

The Nkoranza Traditional Council has pledged its unflinching loyalty and commitment to the Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyaa II.

The pledge was made when the Council, led by its Paramount Chief, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, and Queen Mother, Oheneyere Yaa Sarpomaa III, paid homage to Her Majesty at the Manhyia Palace on September 30.

Speaking as the traditional son and wife of the Asantehene, the Council used the visit to formally affirm their allegiance to the Queen of the Asante Kingdom following her ascension.

“We want to assure you that we will avail ourselves at all times to your service,” the delegation said, as they presented gifts to honour Her Majesty.

They assured the Asantehemaa of their readiness to serve whenever the need arises and sought her blessings in the discharge of their customary and traditional mandate over the Nkoranza Traditional Area.

Receiving them warmly, Nana Yaa Akyaa expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the Council of her constant prayers and support.
