NCA Restores Voice, Data Services In Northern Ghana After Fibre Cut

The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced the full restoration of voice and data services across the five Northern Regions and parts of the Oti Region.

In a press release, the Authority said the restoration follows the successful repair of affected fibre infrastructure by the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) and network operators.

“The National Communications Authority (NCA) is pleased to inform the public that voice and data services have been restored across the five Northern Regions and parts of the Oti Region, following the successful repair of the affected fibre infrastructure by the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) and the network operators,” the statement said.

The NCA commended the technical teams for the speed with which the repairs were carried out and thanked consumers in the affected areas for their patience and understanding during the disruption.

The Authority added that it continues to monitor network performance across the country to ensure that service providers maintain the quality of service that consumers deserve.
