NSA Extends Deadline For Biodata Mismatch Rectification To September 1

The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the deadline for the resolution of biodata mismatch issues to Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

The Authority, in a press release dated August 26, 2026, said the extension is the final opportunity for prospective National Service Personnel who are still affected by biodata mismatches and have been unable to rectify their issues to complete their National Service registration.

It said it is collaborating with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to facilitate the necessary processes to enable affected students to resolve their issues and complete registration within the stipulated period.

According to the NSA, the extension offers the absolute final opportunity for affected personnel to resolve biodata mismatches, complete all outstanding affidavit and Gazette processes, have their records corrected and aligned, and complete their National Service registration.

The Authority has urged affected students to report to the NSA Headquarters before or on the extended deadline with all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Card, affidavit, Gazette publication and other supporting documents.

“Once the necessary corrections have been effected and the student’s records duly aligned, the affected student will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process,” the statement noted.

Management of the NSA urged all who are yet to resolve their biodata mismatch issues, as well as those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report to its Headquarters without delay and no later than the extended deadline.
