Ghana High Commission in Ottawa Announces Consular Outreach in British Columbia for September 12
The Ghana High Commission in Ottawa has announced a special consular outreach exercise for Ghanaians residing in British Columbia Province, scheduled for September 12, 2026 in Vancouver.
According to a public notice issued by the Mission, officials will travel to Vancouver to capture biometric details of compatriots who have already completed their online application forms for Ghanaian passports and mailed them, together with all supporting documents, to the High Commission in Ottawa.
The exercise will not cater to applicants who submitted their forms to the Consulate-General in Toronto.
The High Commission stated that interested persons are required to first complete the online passport application form via the portal http://ottawa.mfa.gov.gh and then mail the completed form along with the necessary supporting documents to its address at One Clemow Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1S 2A9.
All applications must reach the High Commission on or before Monday, September 8, 2026.
The Mission emphasized that no paper applications will be accepted on site and only those who have followed the online application and submission procedure will be attended to.
The biometric capture will take place at the Church of Pentecost, located at 5814 176A St. Surrey, BC V3S 4H5, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The outreach forms part of the Mission’s efforts to bring consular services closer to Ghanaians living outside Ottawa and Toronto.
