Women Moderate NSMQ To Encourage The Study of Science – Primetime MD
The Managing Director of Primetime Production, Madam Nana Akua Ankomah-Asare has disclosed the motive behind women moderating National Service and Maths quiz is to motivate other ladies to learn Science.
Speaking in an interview on Opemsuo radio’s Morning show Nkwantananso on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 the Managing Director stated that in the olden days, women were not allowed to attend school.
“Still, majority of men do study science in the various institutions, so we are using this medium to encourage our little ones to also study science”, she added.
According to her female contestants were encouraged by the performance of quiz mattresses so they are currently part of their team
“We feel that we are on the right path with the development in female Science Education,” she said.
She was at studio together with Prof. Elsie Kaufman, winners of NSMQ’21 and the teachers of these students.
