Whoever Wants To Be NDC Presidential Candidate Should Wait Till 2028; NDCs Told

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the Oforikrom constituency, Henry Osei Akoto has told his fellow members seeking to run for the presidency on the ticket of the party to wait.

Such a person, Osei Akoto says, should wait for four more years since the 2024 slot is reserved only for the 2020 presidential candidate of the NDC and former president, John Dramani Mahama.

“Whoever wants to be President on NDC ticket should wait for 2028.

“2024 is a done deal for @JDMahama!”, he tweeted.

This comes after the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) released a report that the NDC will win the 2024 general elections if only it puts forward a presidential candidate other than John Mahama.

But the 2020 Oforikrom constituency parliamentary candidate believes the report is a plot to sabotage Mahama.

“The anti-Mahama agenda de3 it won’t work”, he said.
