Tyron Of Achimota School Saga Allegedly Gives Father Bruises
Tereo Marghuy, the father of Tyron Iras Marghuy, one of the Rastafarians at the centre of the Achimota School admission saga, has accused his son of being physically violent.
In a viral video, Tereo Marghuy carries bruises on his hand and narrates that his son who was initially denied admission into the prestigious Achimota school due to his dreadlocks, awarded them to him.
“He spoiled his sister’s laptop and they were supposed to take the repairer”, he said and added that he went into Tyron’s room when he heard him having an argument with his sister.
“I went back there (Tyron’s room) to ask why. He unplugged the laptop and walked over to me and he’s been doing this all these years which of course his mom tolerates.
“When he walked over to me, I rushed at him to slap him and he gripped my hand so hard. I don’t know if he had something (sharp) with him”, he recounted and showed his wound to the world.
According to the father, this is the third time Tyron has abused him but has been disrespectful all his life.
He noted that he would not have followed his son to the court in the Achimota school case under normal circumstances but did that for the sake of humanity and Rasta.
He also accused his wife of backing Tyron’s “bad attitude”.
Meanwhile, the other Rastafarian who was also battling to be in the Achimota School has shown exemplary attitude at the Ghana International School (GIS) where he was enrolled after two weeks of “torture” at the Achimota School despite winning the suit.
He has been awarded by the school for being kind and respectful to anyone he interacts with.
