Tech Junction Trading, Transport Operation; The Major Nuisance The Assembly Aims To Deal With – MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi has stated that the trading activities and the transport operation at Tech Junction have become the major nuisance the Assembly aims at dealing with strategically.

Speaking on Opemsuo Radio with the Nkwantananso show host, Agudey, the MCE said it is very bad and unfortunate for the forefront of the entrance of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to be diffused with such nuisance.

According to him, the Assembly together with Ayigyahemaa and other stakeholders have drawn a programme and about to be enrolled to deal with this nuisance in the area.

He added that measures have been deployed to deal with the roadside transport operation especially in the case of commercial drivers to alleviate the place of the needless congestion sustained. This, he said is initiated with the Police Service.
