Vice President On Working Visit To Kumasi
Vice President Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is in the Ashanti Region on a working visit.
The visit on Monday, September 29, 2025, is principally to embark on an inspection of some projects under the Market Enhancement Project.
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, confirmed her presence in the jurisdiction on Monday morning.
“Vice President H.E Prof Jane NOA is in the Ashanti Region for a working visit! ‘Market Enhancement Project’.”
As part of the visit, she will inspect the Mampongteng Market, the Suame Market which was razed by fire and the Krofrom Market.
The veep is in charge of the Market Enhancement Programme, which features about 18 markets across Ghana.
