Fire Guts Adehyeman Savings and Loans Accra Branch
Fire has gutted the office housing the Adehyeman Savings and Loans, a financial institution opposite Atinka Media Village in Accra.
Though no injury or death was recorded, the fire destroyed an air conditioner, cables, plastic T&J ceiling, and furniture on February 11, 2025.
It was prevented from spreading to the main banking hall with properties such as computers, furniture, and stationery saved.
“On Tuesday, February 11 2025, a crew of Firefighters from the Circle Fire Station responded to a fire outbreak at Adehyeman Savings & Loan Ltd, opposite Atinka Media Village in Accra.
“The team arrived at the scene within five (5) minutes after receiving the call and assessed the situation,” the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said in a statement.
Meanwhile, an investigation is ongoing to unravel the actual cause of the fire.
