{Pictures} Ghana Police Gets 200 Motorbikes

The Ghana Police Service has received the first batch of some one thousand (1,000) motorbikes from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).


The donation of 200 motorbikes is meant to enhance security across the country.


The motorbikes were given out on December 11, 2023, during a brief event at the National Police headquarters in Accra.


At the event were the Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare, members of the Police Management Board, the Board Chairman of the ECG, Mr Keli Gadzekpo, the Managing Director of the ECG, Mr Samuel Dubik Mahama and others.


The remaining 800 motorbikes will be delivered in batches.
