Over 15,000 Trained Teachers Posted By NSS Begin In February
The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has released postings of more than 15,000 trained teachers to undertake their mandatory one-year service to the nation.
This was communicated by the Executive Director of NSS, Osei Assibey Antwi.
The postings were released on Friday, January 20, 2023.
In December 2022, the Secretariat released 28, 976 PIN Codes for the enrolment of trained teachers.
Out of this number, only 15, 517 have been posted.
No reason has been assigned for the vast difference, however, the Management of the Scheme has directed the posted personnel to log onto its website to check and proceed to print out their appointment letter for endorsement by their user agency.
Hon Osei Assibey noted that regional validation and registration will take place from January 20 to 28 at all NSS regional offices across the country.
The 2023/2024 national service for trained teachers will begin on February 6, 2023.
“All service personnel deployed are hereby entreated to accept their postings as part of their civic responsibilities and contributions towards national development.”
