Opemsuo Radio Staff Undergo Fire Emergency Training

The workers of Opemsuo Radio, a subsidiary of Ashanti Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), have undergone comprehensive fire emergency training.
Officers from the Manhyia Fire Station visited the premises of the Manhyia Palace on Monday, March 2, 2026, to sensitise and train the staff on fire response.
The fire officers walked the staff through fire prevention measures, demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers, and simulated emergency response scenarios.

The training was designed to boost the staff’s confidence and preparedness in handling fire emergencies, ensuring their safety and the safety of others in the workplace and at home.
The session was part of ongoing efforts to promote fire safety awareness and preparedness in offices, schools, marketplaces and homes within the region.
