Nkawie Sec. Tec. PTA Presents Dual Desks to boost Teaching and Learning

As part of efforts to ensure efficient and effective teaching and learning activities, PTA Executives of Nkawie Secondary Technical School in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti region led by Mr. Kwabena Osei Barnieh, has presented 200 dual desks to support the school.

Speaking at a short ceremony for the presentation, Mr. Barnieh said the donation is meant to appreciate and complement the historic Free Senior High School policy by the government which has increased enrolment in all Senior High School across the country.

The enrolment he said has warranted the need for extra furniture in the school.

“The PTA saw the need to support the government with dual desks to complement the efforts as they provide free education,” he added.

He called on other stakeholders and old students to support the school.

Headmaster of the Nkawie Sec Tech, Mr Yata Francis thanked the PTA executives for the support. He indicated that the government recently supplied the school with 200 desks but that was not enough to cater for the student population of about 3,000.
