Nigerian Gospel Musician Mercy Chinwo Welcomes Second Baby
Nigerian gospel musician Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have welcomed their second child.
She broke the news in a social media post on Friday, August 15, 2025, as she shared some maternity photoshoots.
She wrote, “The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter…and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby. We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light.
“Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed. To the glory of God…Welcome, our precious gift. Oh my love @officialblessed — an amazing father of TWO! The Lord has indeed been good to us.”
As always, Mercy marked her joy with the release of a new song titled “Onyeoma”, whose video is expected to premiere at noon today.
The couple who tied the knot in 2022 welcomed their first fruit in October 2023.
