Minerals Commission Boss Reassigned as Lands Ministry Technical Advisor

The Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission, Martin Kwaku Ayisi, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources as the Technical Advisor.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, on behalf of the Minister, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who is currently out of the jurisdiction.
A statement by the Minerals Commission on Friday said the new appointment of Mr Martin Kwaku Ayisi will take effect on September 16, 2025.
“This reassignment underscores the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening policy coordination and reflects its recognition of Mr. Ayisi’s indispensable expertise in mining regulation, governance, and institutional reforms.”
It added that the reassignment recognizes Mr. Ayisi’s indispensable role and expertise and is designed to leverage his experience at the Ministry.
Hon. Sulemana commended Mr Ayisi for his service and urged the staff to remain calm, focused, and cooperative, emphasising the critical importance of unity and a seamless transition to maintain the Commission’s operational excellence.
He will be replaced at the Minerals Commission by his deputy, Isaac Tandoh.
