Mimhene Extends New Year Felicitations to Asantehene
The Paramount Chief of Mim Traditional Area, Dr Okofrobour Nana Yaw Agyei II, has extended his felicitations to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Accompanied by the Queen, Nana Akua Akwaa and members of the traditional council, he visited the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on January 12, 2026.
They presented traditional drinks, a ram and cash to the Palace to express their gratitude to His Majesty.
“We came to express our profound appreciation to my lord for his direction and blessings in the previous year, as well as extend our well-wishes in the new year. We pray for long life and health for His Majesty.”
The gifts were received with much satisfaction.
The Mim Traditional Council was among the various Councils that received the audience of the Asantehene on Monday.
