Measures Are Deployed To Curb Military Impersonation – GAF
The Chief Operation Officer in the Central Command of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), Col. Emmanuel Gyadu has disclosed that the military officers have put measures in place to curb fake military personnel in the system.
In an interview with the Newsmen, he said that there are a lot of people faking to be military officers’ extortion and defrauding citizens into recruitment in security agencies in the country which is falsehood.
He cautioned Ghanaians to stay vigilant and support the security agencies with needed information to bring those perpetrators to book.
Speaking in reaction to the recent fake military personnel in the Ashanti region, he stated that such acts are trending wrongfully in the country which needs more attention.
The Chief Operations Officer said none of the professional military commanders will protect an unscrupulous person from such acts since the military rule is very hard on the personnel.
Col. Emmanuel Gyadu emphasized that there is nothing like protocol in the military system since recruitment is published fluently in the Ghanaian times and Graphics newspaper.
He asked the public not to pay any money for the recruitment of any security agencies to officers on social media or office as it is unlawful to do so.
