Make Prudent Investments when You Make Hit Songs- Nana Acheampong to Musicians
Highlife artiste Nana Acheampong has issued a timeless advice to up and coming artistes as well as those in the limelight to make prudent life investments to insure their future.
According to the “Lover Boy” hitmaker, there is an inevitable off season that awaits musicians and thereby the need to make sagacious moves to safeguard their future.
In an interview with UTV, Nana Acheampong characterized the profession as “dangerous”.
“It takes off smoothly and prosperously but that doesn’t take long. Whatever you get while blossoming must be invested in viable ventures. This is very important because if you are unlucky to leave the limelight abruptly.
“They should not rush and let their stardom get into their head. They have to think about the future and build something to secure it. Times do change. At a point you will have several hit songs and make a lot of money and at some other points none of your songs will hit and so invest when things go well for you.”
Additionally, he urged today’s musicians to advocate good moral and convey proper messages with their crafts.
“I like their style but they should vary their lyrics to convey some good counsel and direction for the youth.”
