KMA Announces Metro-wide Cleanup Exercise
The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has announced a metro-wide cleanup exercise on December 13, 2025.
It stated that the exercise is in line with the Government’s vision to embark on a monthly clean-up exercise nationwide.
It is expected to commence at 6 am and close at 12 noon.
It therefore directed all trading activities to cease until noon to make way for the owners to partake in this exercise.
It also noted that vehicular movement is banned during the stipulated period in the following operational areas, including the Otumfuo Roundabout to MTN Roundabout to Zoo Roundabout, Roman Hill Down to Aboabo Station Cross Roads through Alabar to Apagyafie Cross Roads, Apagyafie Cross Roads through Dr Mensah to Otumfuo Roundabout, MTN Roundabout to Asanteman SHS, the entire CBD, Dim Light Area, Pampaso Area, and Ultimate Fashion Area.
“It is hoped that all traders, commercial drivers, and residents will comply with this directive.”
