Kennedy Agyapong Honoured By Adventist Men’s Ministry
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has been honoured by the Adventist Men’s Ministry, a ministry under the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Northern Ghana Union Conference.
The MP was honoured for his “compassion that knows no bounds”, according to the Men’s ministries. He is touted for giving to all manner of people without discrimination, and for doing it to emancipate people from the wreckages of poverty.
The ministry went ahead to praise the Honourable MP as a perfect description of what Ellen G. White, one of the pioneers of the church wrote in her famous book titled ‘Education’ page 57 “The greatest want of the world is the want of men-men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall”.
The Men’s ministries also expressed their appreciation to the Assin MP for his acquaintance with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for their impact on society.
Mr Ohemeng, the Ashanti Regional Campaign Secretary for the MP who is also aspiring to lead the New Patriotic Party as flagbearer come 2024 received the citation on behalf of the MP and thanked the church for honouring the MP.
He went on to say that the MP has created over 7,158 direct jobs to solve the unemployment situation in the country. Therefore, should the MP become president in the future, he will perform excellently for the betterment of the people.
He also encouraged Ghanaians to have faith in the NPP to deliver their promise by the end of 2024.
