Kejetia Traders Cry Over Poor Sanitation

The traders at the Kejetia Market in the Ashanti region have complained about the poor state of sanitation in and around the market.

According to the traders, the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the market by providing cars that will convey the rubbish to a reasonable destination but they do not come on time.

There should be a law to punish those who litter around, some traders suggested.

They said the rubbish that has been flooding the Ashanti region is the result of the bad attitude of some residents.
