Jack Where Are You; Sammy Gyamfi Searches For Bawumia Amid Cedi Fall
The Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi is on a quest to find the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The communicator of the opposition party in a tweet tagged the vice president to ask him about his whereabouts.
His inquiry is in relation to the incessant fall of the cedi to the dollar and other major currencies.
He posted “The dollar is now selling at GHS9.95. @MBawumia jack where are you?”.
The Ghana cedi is now trading at GHS 9.28 to a dollar, GHS 11.01 to pound sterling and GHS 9.40 to a euro.
The vice President, while in opposition, was quite vociferous about the poor performance of the cedi under the erstwhile Mahama administration.
