How Ablakwa Reacted To Rev Kusi Boateng’s Demonic Reference
The Founder of Power Chapel Church and a Board member of the National Cathedral Trustees, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng during the delivery of his sermon on Sunday referred to the numerous allegations levelled against him in connection with the National Cathedral and attributed them to works of demons.
“When you heard that I have been given an appointment, you were all happy; how can I go up without fighting the demons?”, he queried.
The pastor also communicated his readiness to face all the allegations.
“Many are the affliction of man but God shall deliver them from some of them. The question is that, is your father is going through this? I promise you, I will go through this honourably. Everyone of you should relax, be happy and don’t waste your time fighting on Facebook”, he said according to JoyNews.
In reaction to this, Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who has been behind the numerous allegations against the pastor, said he is carrying out his mandate as a legislator.
“How does a harmless MP carrying out his constitutional mandate of oversight become a demon?”, he wondered.
Then ironically he added, “Okay, so as a demon who should I see for deliverance? Seriously, do I contact Prophet Kwabena Adu Gyamfi or Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng?”
The MP has accused the Man of God of conflict of interest and multiple identities.
Ablakwa alleges conflict of interest by Rev Kusi Boateng after discovering that the country made a payment of GHC2.6 million to one JNS Talent Centre Limited- a company co-owned by three identified as Johannes Eshun, Sheila Eshun and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi- in relation to the construction of the National Cathedral.
Further investigations led him to the discovery that Rev Kusi Boateng is the same as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi who co-owns JNS.
He also found that the pastor has different Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) and operates different businesses with all his identities.
“For the avoidance of doubt, there is no distinct Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi is a criminal creation of Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng. The two are, therefore, one and the same,” Mr Ablakwa alleged in a statement on his Facebook wall.
Ablakwa has since petitioned the Commission on Human Rights Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) over the transfer of the funds.
Rev Kusi Boateng described the allegations as “twisted narrations of events to pursue a malicious political agenda”.
He plans to sue Ablakwa for defamation when CHRAJ is through with its investigations, he said in a press statement dated January 16, 2022.
