Glover Ashong Annan Appointed Commissioner of GRA Customs Division

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan as the Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
The Presidential Security Coordinator replaces Commissioner, Brigadier General Ziblim Ayorrogo.
A statement by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu announced the appointment in a statement on Sunday.
“His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President and Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces has appointed Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan as the Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.”
The “well-respected, dedicated, principled, and patriotic” Officer of the Ghana Army is now tasked with the responsibility of resetting the Customs Division.
He is also expected to support the GRA to meet its targets as the government works towards fixing the economy.
