Ghana Music Awards: Nacee Nominated For Artiste Of the Year

Renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste, Nana Osei, popularly known as Nacee has been nominated as Artiste of the Year in the 25th edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

The “Efata Wo” crooner will battle it out with the likes of Kuami Eugene, Black Sherrif, Sarkodie, King Promise and Stonebwoy.

Last year, Black Sherrif stood tall when he won the award in the category which encompassed Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, Piesie Esther and Joe Mettle.

Nacee, in all, received three nominations alongside the Artiste of the Year award. He was nominated Best gospel artiste with his “Aseda” getting nominated as Best Gospel Song and Most Popular Song of the Year.

He took to his X account to express his gratitude.

“Grateful to God and all of you who pushed, streamed, and reposted Aseda! Congratulations, these nominations are a result of our collective effort”

The annual award scheme that recognises talents in the music industry will this year take place on June 1, 2024, with Telecel now the headline sponsor.

The nominees for the Awards were unveiled at an event at the Grand Arena in Accra on Thursday night.
