Eduwatch Partners Developers of SuaCode To Promote Rural Digital Literacy

Ghana Education Watch (Eduwatch) has announced a partnership with Kwame AI Inc., developers of SuaCode, an AI-powered, smartphone-based coding course.

The strategic partnership is geared toward promoting digital literacy and coding education in underserved communities and schools across Ghana.

The initiative is supported by Deloitte Switzerland, Eduwatch said in a statement on Thursday.

Under the partnership, Eduwatch will identify and onboard 500 Junior High School students and graduates to benefit from coding scholarships delivered through the SuaCode platform.

Eduwatch will also provide technical and implementation support for the programme’s rollout, while Kwame AI will grant the 500 learners access to SuaCode, equipping them with practical coding skills to help bridge the country’s digital skills gap.

“Eduwatch and Kwame Al are optimistic about the partnership’s potential to build the digital competencies of young people and advance the integration of innovative learning tools into Ghana’s education system, especially in communities with limited access to conventional ICT infrastructure.”
