Dr Likee’s Interview Troubled Me- 39/40
Comic actor Michael Akwasi Afrane popularly known as 39/40 says the recent rant by his mentor, Dr Likee about the conduct of members within his camp troubled him.
He noted that it was the first time their boss had gone public to vent his displeasure over attitudes of members and thereby the concern and cause for alarm on his part.
Though he absolved himself of any knowledge of the said attitude that had forced Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, as Dr Likee was christened, to go public, he apologized during an interview with blogger Zionfelix.
“We are all humans and we may offend. I believe we did something wrong that did not go down well with Uncle. I will use this medium to apologise to him. We are humans and to err is human…I don’t know if I am recalcitrant and I know each one is recalcitrant in one way or the other.
“I don’t know what I have done. I speak to you I don’t know my offence. I don’t know who among us is being accused of being recalcitrant because Uncle didn’t name anyone…The interview troubled me because it was the first time he did that.”
He however doubts this will break their camp.
“We can’t break up. He is human and as a human you will have to vent out at some point when you are fed up. He has spoken and we have taken cue from that and so all members of the team will buck up. We apologise and plead that he forgive us.”
Dr Likee during a recent interview disclosed his boys are recalcitrant, the reason he is contemplating retirement from acting and skit-making.
