Debt Recovery Program to Improve Service Delivery – GWCL

The management of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has cautioned customers not to fall victim to the company’s Debt Recovery Program as they move to reclaim all debts owed the company by customers.

According To Dr. Clifford A. Braimah, Managing Director for Ghana Water Company, the exercise, which is ongoing across the country, promises to bring massive improvement in the company’s service delivery.

He said that due to their new plans, disconnected customers will pay their bills in full together with reconnection fees before they are reconnected.

He therefore advised its customers who are owing to pay their arrears before the team gets to their locations to avoid disconnections.

Speaking in an interaction with the media, he entreated customers to cooperate with the teams as they undertake the exercise in efforts to mobilise more revenue to improve water supply services in the country.
