Chris Hughton To Be Unveiled
The newly appointed coach for the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, will be outdoored later this month, the Ghana Football Association has said.
The outdooring will take place before the Black Stars’ qualifiers against Angola.
A statement released by the GFA said he will be unveiled in Kumasi on March 20, 2023, however, it failed to add the specific venue and details for the event.
At the event, Hughton will be “presented to the media to share his vision, ideology, and expectations with the public”.
The GFA said officials will also use the opportunity to make public the targets, terms of engagement, and other relevant information pertaining to the manager’s work.
The appointment of Hughton was communicated in a statement on February 12.
Before his appointment, he worked with Black Star’s former head coach, Otto Addo as a Technical Advisor.
Ghana will take on Angola in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers in Kumasi on March 23 and play the return fixture in Luanda, the capital city of Angola on March 27 to book a slot in the tournament.
Already, Hughton has made his selection for the game.
